Architect Rui Guo from China proposes an alternate design to the new MoMA tower in New York City currently on the drawing board of Jean Nouvel. Guo’s idea is to create a formal dialogue between the minimalistic design of Yoshio Taniguchi and the organic forms of his proposal.

Rui Guo proposes a vertical garden attached to the circulation and structural core by modifying each floor plate and gallery. He proposes a symbiotic relationship between the normal galleries and the emergent areas with a façade that transforms vertically and horizontally according to program, orientation, and the relationship with the city.
